Product Design, Development and Prototyping services fall under a variety of fundamental areas. Concept development begins with a review and exploration of new and alternative design approaches to bring improvement to a tool or a surgical procedure. Thorough analysis confirms the feasibility of the design improvement. A brilliant design team begins evaluating the new product or improvement from all aspects of application, use, efficiency and cost-effectiveness before drafting a viable design approach. A functional prototype is then rapidly created with the use of state-of-the-art fabrication equipment. In-depth qualification testing is then conducted, utilizing bench top as well as functional testing. If all goes well, the product moves into the design-for-manufacturing stage, enabling a smooth transition to a design model that can support full-scale production. Finally, small lot or pilot manufacturing is performed to help the product or improvement reach regulatory compliance during clinical trials, market evaluations and quality validations.
